How does the AI card scanner work?

You photograph a card with your phone or upload an image. The AI reads the card name, set symbol, collector number, rarity and language, then matches it against our catalogue and attaches live market prices.

Which games are supported?

Pokémon (English and Japanese), Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! (TCG and OCG), One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana and Digimon Card Game.

Where do the prices come from?

US prices follow TCGplayer market data, European prices follow Cardmarket, and Japanese prices follow Japanese marketplaces such as Yahoo Auctions. Prices are estimates of recent market activity, not offers to buy or sell.

Is the insurance report accepted by insurers?

TCG Aegis produces an itemised, date-stamped PDF valuation that insurers commonly ask for. We are not an insurer and cannot guarantee any specific company accepts it — always confirm requirements with your provider.

How accurate is the AI PSA grading preview?

It is an estimate based on centering, corners, edges and surface from your photo. It is a pre-screening tool, not a substitute for professional grading.

Is my collection data private?

Yes. Collections are private by default, protected by row-level security, and you can export or delete your data at any time.

Can I use TCG Aegis for free?

Yes. The free plan includes 20 AI scans per month and unlimited collection size.
